Built in a truck, not in a boardroom.
ScapesHQ started because a working drainage company in the Southeast was running its whole operation on a spreadsheet, a shared inbox, a proposal PDF and a whiteboard — and losing jobs in the seams between them.
Where it came from
We ran Facebook lead ads and watched leads sit in a form inbox nobody had time to check. We priced jobs twice because the first estimate lived on somebody else's laptop. We sent a homeowner the same proposal twice and had to apologize for it. We looked at the CRMs built for software salespeople and could not make a yard, a homeowner and a crew fit into a single contact row.
So we built the thing we needed, in the business that needed it. The Facebook integration went live in production against real leads before it was ever offered to anybody else.
What we believe
- Record the work. If it happened, it should be on a timeline you can look at later.
- Don't lose leads quietly. A failed intake should surface and be recoverable, not vanish.
- The customer isn't a row. People, companies and properties are different things.
- Say what's built. Reserved is not the same as shipped, and we label it that way.
- Your data is yours. Export and closure are buttons, not negotiations.
A working platform, still being extended
ScapesHQ is a functioning operational CRM running a real business today. Development continues toward a broader contractor operating system — and we'll keep telling you which is which.
